ercolano blue pigment

the ercolano blue pigment is an organic pigment fixed on a carbonate and a sulfate. its color is quite bright sky blue. It is compatible with all binders and all techniques. A dosage in the lime paste at 25% of the weight of the lime gives a bright and fresh sky blue color reminiscent of the colors used on the seaside. This pigment mixes perfectly well in water. A priori is suitable for ocher painting depending on the painted wood, but do experiment however.
