saponified wax

white saponified wax is the most used beeswax in decoration because it can be diluted with water. Once it becomes transparent while leaving a satin to shiny appearance depending on its polishing. This wax is made in our workshop in an artisanal way by emulsion with ammonium carbonate from 100% pure and natural white beeswax. It can be applied on any solid to slightly flexible support, such as walls and ceilings, lime or plaster coatings, wood etc ... it is possible to tint it to paint (as in antiquity), or to create patinas on plaster.

consumption: 50gr / m² on a smooth and slightly absorbent substrate, 100gr / m² on a porous substrate

product ready to use, however we can add water to it to adapt it to the support application: apply a first coat of wax on a dry surface using a cloth, sponge or a trowel without leaving any surplus in order to impregnate the support then let dry 24 to 48 hours. When the surface no longer sticks it is possible to shine directly, if the desired effect is not achieved it is possible to apply other coats knowing that the drying time between coats will be longer, then polish between each coat , this until the desired effect.

for professionals it is possible to use a polisher, however be careful not to overheat the wax which, then, will melt again.
